  • 7th Annual Calvert Arts Festival

    Frederick, MD

    Calvert County artisans and the seven Patuxent Wine Trail wineries of Calvert and St. Mary’s Counties will be featured at the 7th annual Calvert Arts Festival, Saturday, May 10, from 11 am to 6 pm, sponsored by All Saints Episcopal Church and the Southern Maryland Folk Arts Center. The fest will be on the Church grounds at the corner of Routes 2 and 4, Sunderland, MD. This juried show features some of the best artisans in Calvert, St. Mary’s and Charles Counties, as well as other fine craftsmen. Cost of the event to taste wine is $15, for which you will receive a commemorative wine glass and wrist band. You must be 21 years or older to taste wine. Bottle and by-the-glass sales also available.

    The St. Luke's Worship & the Arts department joins the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Organ Department in presenting one of its annual IU ChoralFest performances. Student singers, organists and conductors will present an ecclectic program of American music, including Ives' Psalm 90 and Berstein's Chichester Psalms. St. Luke's partnership with the Jacobs School of Music includes a organ scholarship for talented student organists.
