    The celebrated James Levine appears with the fabulous Philadelphians for the first time in 20 years in a program that includes works by Ives, Brahms, and the Saint-Saëns Symphony No. 3. Op. 76 of Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, the Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ, makes a dramatic appearance.

  • Virtuoso Music for Organ and Piano

    Jeremy Filsell (piano) and Nigel Potts (organ) have amassed significant credentials as virtuoso performers before audiences here and abroad and have attracted great attention for their brilliant transcriptions of the boldest piano concertos. Their program here will be centered on the Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 1 as well as other works by Rachmaninov, Joseph Jongen and Max Reger. Dobson Pipe Organ Builders Op. 89 is featured.

    Thomas Trotter, famed international touring artist, presents the first program of the 2016 Merton Organ Festival on the College's organ, Op. 91 of Dobson Pipe Organ Builders. This concert is sponsored by the Oxford & District Organists' Association to celebrate their centenary. It commemorates the first meeting of an 'Association of Organists in Oxford', which was held on 19 March 1916.

    Join the Organ Historical Society for this year’s Pipe Organ Experience in the western suburbs of Oak Park and River Forest from 9:00 Am until 4:00 PM. We will be visiting some rather spectacular venues with some rather spectacular instruments: Grace Episcopal, Oak Park: 1922 Casavant of 4-manuals and 67 ranks. Grace Lutheran, River Forest: 1986 Berghaus of 3-manuals and 82 ranks. First United Church, Oak Park: 1983 Casavant of 4-manuals and 87 ranks. Ascension Roman Catholic, Oak Park: 2004 Berghaus of 3-manuals and 40 ranks. First United Methodist Church, Oak Park: 1926 Skinner of 4-manuals and 43 ranks. Transportation will be provided and lunch available for $20.
