Biographical Info

Orgues Létourneau is a leader known internationally for its excellence in all aspects of pipe organ design, construction, restoration and tonal finishing.

Founded in 1979, Orgues Létourneau has built over 130 pipe organs for clients in Canada, the United States, England, Austria, New Zealand, and Australia. The company is made up of a dedicated team who design, build, and restore pipe organs of all types and sizes. Létourneau organs are characterized by refined voicing, responsive key actions, and outstanding craftsmanship.

Létourneau offers one of the best-equipped workshops in North America and almost every part of their pipe organs is built in their shops such as cases, wind chests, reservoirs, consoles, and keyboards. Additionally, Létourneau builds all of its pipes in-house to ensure each stop is perfect, from the pipes’ shape and scale through its voicing.

Restorations and rebuilds make up an important part of Létourneau’s work. Older instruments are evaluated with regard to their integrity and how to make the best use of original materials while making significant mechanical and musical improvements. Létourneau’s experienced pipe makers and voicers are particularly skilled at transforming old pipework to produce beautiful sonorities.

Contact us if you have a pipe organ project; we’d be delighted to hear from you!
